We arrived in Nassau with the sunrise…

We’ve been here a few times before, the last time was about four years ago. Back then this whole area pictured was under construction. Now, it seems, the reconstruction efforts are coming to an end. They built this entire seaside village to cater to the cruise ship tourists. It’s a major improvement and very pleasant to walk around within the confines of this new shoreline. The only project left to be finished is the new outdoor swimming pool next the the concert pavilion. We walked around the area for a couple of hours, buying a few trinkets in the Straw Market before reboarding the ship for a seafood lunch and a long soak in the hot tub.

We departed Nassau at sunset…

…and enjoyed a delightful dinner followed by a Beatles song and dance spectacular.
