Wanderlust

I knew when we reached this point of having fully circumnavigated the continental United States on our Great American Road Trip of 2025 that I would want to create a blog of pictures that show the road more traveled. I love taking pictures of roads, tracks, canals, highways, canyons, rivers, boardwalks, beaches, pathways, anything that draws your eye into the picture, that emphasizes the transformative power of travel and the importance of adventure, and one that fuels the intrinsic urge to explore the distant horizon.

Some of these pictures are ours, some are borrowed, some are from previous adventures; all invoke a forward motion, a yearning to see around the corner or over the next plateau, a need to feed that ever-hungry wanderlust.
