Palisades Park

Palisades Park is a small park at Pacific Beach in San Diego. I’ve seen yoga classes on this grassy knoll with fifty or so people who encompassed most of the park; that’s how small it is. It’s mostly a locals only park with the tourists hanging out around the pier and southward all the way down to Mission Beach and the jetty. A storm had just passed the day before so the higher-than-usual waves enticed the surfers with their crests and swells and the chance to catch that one elusive perfect ride. There were handfuls of other people standing beside us on this evening watching Nature’s magnificent glory unfold…
