For my birthday we went to Disneyland!

…but the goal was really to go to a galaxy far, far away. I’m a huge Star Wars fan, a Trekkie, and into anything sci-fi. I’ve seen everything there is to see in the Star Wars universe.

For my last three birthdays we cruised the Mediterranean, to Alaska, and the Caribbean. This year we cruised to… Anaheim! Treva surprised me with tickets to Galaxy’s Edge, which is the very immersive world created at Disneyland (and Disney World) for Star Wars geeks like me be enchanted by.

I was in my glory, allowing myself to be a kid again and believe that I was in that world. We joined the Resistance and flew in the Millennium Falcon all in one day! Treva, who is not a big fan, enjoyed herself nonetheless. They do an amazing job of recreating the galaxy that George Lucas first imagined back in the 70’s. The details they adhere to are incredibly spot-on as you will see in the many, many pictures that follow…
